Eileen Barker Fee Schedule

Two Party Cases:
Ms. Barker's standard rate for two-party cases is $4,000 per day or $2,000 for a half day, for cases conducted at her office. The flat rate covers all time related to a particular day of mediation (including pre-mediation interviews, preparation and review time, the mediation session and reasonable follow-up time). The flat rate does not include activities related to any further days of mediation.

Multi-Party Cases:
The rate for multi-party cases ranges from $5,000 per day and up, depending on the number of parties and complexity of issues. For rates on these cases, please contact us.

Reduced Fees:
A reduced fee may be available when the standard rate is not economically viable or in other special circumstances. Every effort will be made to accommodate the parties' budgetary concerns.

Deposit and Cancellation:
To hold a particular date, a deposit will be required at the time the mediation is schedule. For two-party cases, the minimum amounts are $4,000 for a full day and $2,000 for a half day, for cases conducted at her office. The deposit will be refundable until 14 days before the scheduled date (minus fees incurred). If the mediation is canceled or rescheduled with less than ten (14) days notice, the deposit will not be refundable, however the the deposit can be transferred to another date. Once the deposit ceases to be refundable, it shall be forfeited to the extent that it exceeds fees incurred on the day reserved. If the fees incurred on the day of mediation exceed the deposit, the balance will be due at the end of the session, unless the parties have opted in advance for a flat rate.

Late Arrivals:
Please arrive promptly for the mediation, as you will be charged starting from the time that we are scheduled to begin.
